Visual vs. written arguments.
Visual arguments speak to the audience differently than written arguments. In written arguments the author must use persuasive writing tactics to persuade the reader, and it is as if they are speaking right to them. With visual arguments the author must first grab the audiences attention and then use creative mechanisms to silently make their argument. Often times if done properly, these visual arguments can be more affective because they leave more up to the imagination of the viewer/ audience.
